Two tone bag by TSUGI

I created bags in collaboration with Arakawa race factory, which has been producing Warp knitting fabrics for curtains in Fukui prefecture. Fukui Prefecture has long been known as a production area for warp knitting, and is the number one producer of knitted lace products in Japan. I designed the textiles for bags as well as the shapes of bags with Yasuhiro Suzuki.
Colors are inspired by the nature of Fukui and named KANI(crab),UMI(ocean) and MATSU(plan tree).  The color inside and outside are different and you can enjoy the moire effect of the layer of these twocolors while you are hanging the bags.
