This is a collaboration project with Unagino-Nedoko in Fukuoka.
First I researched the beauty of the misalignment of the threads in Kurume-Gasuri and then took the unforeseeable fluctuation of the pattern as my design theme.Then I expressed the flower patterns by employing Warp Kasuri, Weft Kasuri and Warp-Weft Kasuri techniques.
Through this project I was able to challenge for the new design horizons utilizing Kurume-Gasuri traditional techniques.
