日本の伝統技法である裂織（古着物を織物のヨコ糸として使用する技法）から着想を得て、2枚のドットとストライプの生地を部分的にカットし、”織る”ことにより1枚の生地に仕立てました。
2枚の生地の柄が混ざり合い、織組織により表情や素材感に立体感が出てユニークなテキスタイルになります。端に出ている生地は織られていないオリジナルの生地です。端の生地と中央の織られた生地の表情の違いが面白いテキスタイルです。
インテリアとして空間に飾ったり、ソファーカバーやマットとして使用を想定しています。
The fabric pattern were mixed and fused together that created a completely new expressions on fabrics by ‘Fusing Technique’. I have developed this original technique inspired by Japanese traditional technique called SAKIORI(Rug weave). Very common patterns such as polka dots and stripes were transformed into unique and amazing expressions.
