In order to make use of surplus stock of threads dormantly stored in production areas, I came up with an idea of using those threads randomly that resulted in the colorful rainbow-like Ikat design. In this collection, This ‘ Rainbow Ikat’ colors change depending on the availability of the yarn in stock, allowing you to produce one-of-a-kind piece of cloth that can only be created at that specific time. Thus this collection becomes almost like a rainbow that can only be seen at the specific time of a specific season and a climate. The resulting cloth wll also bear sensitive and priceless impressions like the rainbow.
